the experience

our style

We take you already like our work! But in case you need a bit of a heads up...

We are a relaxed and fun duo, that work well independently or as a team. Aaron brings to the team years of modelling coaching and editorial work that helps us to get primo shots with minimal coaching! Mikayla absolutely loves to take in the beautiful scenery, the small details and capture special candid moments. Both of use though love to capture all the love of a wedding!

We both love to utilise light in our images, to get creative with it, and we loooove the warm light of sunset.

consultations

Once you have made contact and you are ready to take the next step we will set up our consultations to keep in touch! You can email or call us at any time in between.

Meet & Greet

Usually a phone call or in person consultation to decide if we are the right team for each other.

An in-person or Zoom consultation where we will take an hour or so to go through your vision for your wedding day. We will go over things like timelines and details of the day and how to ensure we capture all the best bits!

Timeline Confirmation Session

In the week or two leading up to the big day we would love to check in again to confirm the timeline and details of your day.

Wedding Day

Depending on the timeline of your wedding, we will begin the day at your “Getting Ready” location.

Starting with the ladies and finishing up with the men.

We will then attend your ceremony and reception venues as discussed.

Make sure to fill out your online Questionnaire in the Client Portal with all of the place names, addresses and other important details!

post-production

We will safely back up all of your data and begin the process of choosing the best of the best footage and photos.

In the case of photos we will carefully curate, and professionally edit your images, and export in both web and print versions. You will get a sneak peek within 3 working days on our Social Media. For a standard length wedding you can expect 400-600 photos in web and print versions within 2 months.

If there are special ceremonies or people you would like captured we will ensure to prioritise these.

  • BIG GROUP PHOTO

    BIG GROUP PHOTO

This is an optional shot, but certainly a nice to have. We like to get the nice standard smiling shot, and then a fun one! Time Required: 10 minutes When: After the ceremony Where: Usually outside at the ceremony venue Advice: If you can have your celebrant or MC advise the guests at the end of the ceremony your plan for the group photo, this makes this process a lot easier and faster. This ensures no photos are forgotten.

  • CREATIVE SESSION

The best photos come when you are both being cute & loving each other how only you guys do!
