Family Lite session Locations.
Lite Sessions are held at one of three set Clutha locations. Kaka Point, Naish Park and Clutha Riverside. This keeps everything simple, consistent, and beautifully lit, so you can arrive relaxed and just enjoy your time together.

kaka point Beach.
A stunning coastal backdrop with soft sand and rolling dunes. Sunset here creates golden light that’s perfect for capturing connection, laughter, and the carefree joy of being by the ocean. Complementing that glow are the long beach grasses at the back of the dunes, which catch the light beautifully for a truly golden effect. The colours here range from whites and blues by the water, to warm golden tones among the grasses. Outfits that match the setting, think soft blues and whites for the beach, or earthy neutrals to blend with the grasses, really elevate the final images.
Naish Park.
A local favourite with beautiful trees and changing seasonal colours. From spring blossoms in pinks and fresh greens, to rich autumn tones of orange and gold, this location offers variety and charm that suits every family session. Because the tones shift so much across the seasons, your outfit colours can really transform the final look here, light and airy in spring, or deep and cozy in autumn.
Clutha Riverside.
Golden grasses and open riverbanks make this spot a relaxed, natural setting. Perfect for playful walks, cuddles, and capturing families in wide, scenic backdrops that feel timeless. There are actually two areas here, the riverside itself and a beautiful tree-lined lane. Depending on the season, the trees shift from fresh greens to warm yellows, offering different moods throughout the year. The overall tones at this location are earthy greens and yellows, which pair beautifully with soft neutrals or outfits that echo those natural shades.
