Nine months can feel like forever while you are living it, and somehow be gone in the blink of an eye. Let’s preserve this version of you, the anticipation, the connection, and the little life already changing everything.
The Storybridge Experience
Maternity sessions are about more than documenting how your body looked. They are about remembering what it felt like to be here, waiting for someone you have not even met yet, while already knowing they have changed your life.
You do not need to know how to pose, what to do with your hands, or arrive feeling completely confident in front of the camera. I will gently guide you throughout your session while leaving plenty of room for the natural connection between you, your partner, your children, and the little person you are waiting to meet.
Your session can be centred entirely around you, or your partner and children can be part of it too. We will plan the location, wardrobe and overall feel together beforehand, so when the day arrives, all you really need to do is show up.

Your partner and children are always welcome. This chapter belongs to them too, and there is no additional cost to include the people closest to you.

Something To Wear
You will have access to the Storybridge Client Wardrobe, including selected pieces from The Weekend Wardrobe, with options chosen specifically to photograph beautifully.

Soft and intimate, relaxed and playful, or something a little more bold. Your maternity session does not need to look like anyone else’s. We will create something that feels like you.
Maternity Collections.
There is no one way a maternity session should look. Yours can be quiet and intimate, relaxed and connected, focused entirely on you, or shared with your partner and children.
We can create your session outdoors somewhere beautiful, or keep things simple and private at the Storybridge Studio. Together, we will choose a setting and approach that feels most like you.
Maternity sessions are generally best photographed between 28 and 36 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined while you are still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience.

Mini Maternity.

A little time to remember something big.
Perfect for a simple maternity update without needing a full session. We will keep things relaxed and focused, with time for beautiful portraits of you and a few with your partner or children if you would like them involved.
